Contracts for Difference
A contract for difference (or a CFD) is a contract between a trader and a dealer. The two parties agree to pay the difference between the opening price of a trade and the closing price. If you make a successful trade then the dealer must pay you. But if the trade was unsuccessful then you must pay the dealer.
